Who We Are - Vision, Mission PDF Print E-mail

The Chartwell-Maple Grove Residents Association (CMGRA) is a local, non-profit volunteer residents’ organization which  was established in April 2009. Its boundaries include streets east of Chartwell Road to Maple Grove Drive, and south from Cornwall Road to the lake. We are bordered on the east by our neighbours in the Joshua Creek Ratepayers Inc. (www.joshuacreek.org), on the west by the Trafalgar-Chartwell Residents Association (www.TCRA.ca), and the southwest by the Oakville Lakeside Residents Association (www.oakvillelra.ca).

CMGRA is located in one of Oakville’s original communities which is characterized by its unique blend of old and new homes located in a treasured urban forest. Our vision is a unique and sustainable community with a multi-fold mission:

·         To advocate on behalf of the residents of our community
·         To communicate relevant issues to our membership
·         To preserve, protect, and enhance our natural environment, the health and well-being of our residents, and the integrity of our town now and for future generations.
Like other such associations, the success of the CMGRA depends on the support of its residents. Help us create a strong and viable voice for our community. We invite you to visit our website or give us a call and consider joining us by becoming a member or a volunteer.
